This month's iCOTM might come as a bit of a surprise as it isn't from a very well-known restaurant in a particularly fashionable part of town that is easy to access for most people. The Chicken Jhanjari at Tandoori Asian Dining, however, would be well worth anyone's journey down to the west of Chiba, and those who ventured there would certainly be well rewarded once the food was on the table in front of them. The Jhanjari is a simple dish with a multitude of flavourful layers. The base ingredients of soft chicken and chopped boiled egg, mixed with a topping of crushed cashews, spring onions, and a dash of cream is a curry lovers dream, and especially for those who prefer curries that are heavy on the sauce. I went for "very hot", and that enhanced the whole experience exponentially with every bite. If that isn't enough to tempt you, they also serve a perfectly prepared paratha (best I've had in Japan) and basmati rice (on request). This is definitely one of the best curry experiences I've had in Chiba and it is well worth the trek in my humble opinion
