The end of September sees the Namaste India Festival returning to the event square at Yoyogi Park. This free event, which is the climax of a larger event that has been running since August called "India Festival 2014-2015", will be held on the 26th and 27th, running from 10am–8pm both days, with entertainment and food being served up throughout. This year there will be 32 different food and drink stalls, musical performances, including North Indian classical music, South Indian classical music, and Indian Bengali Music, dance performances, including Indian folk dance, Bhangra dance, and Indian semi classical dance, culminating on Sunday evening in a performance by Gujarati, a 10 member strong folk dance troupe. There will also be lectures and workshops held in two large tents, as well as other displays.
