Okay, so Yotsuya's Ajanta isn't claiming to serve breakfast, but as they open at 10AM I took the opportunity today to sate my curry craving first thing.
A somewhat expensive but very ambitious lunch menu lets diners customize their lunch set more than any I've seen. With nearly 20 curries to choose from, 4 breads (bhatura, roti and chapati offer a great naanternative) and even extras like rassam and raita, it's all the more curious why there doesn't seem to be a grain of Basmati in sight!
The all-you-can-eat Japanese rice and naan may please some, but I was stuffed enough with two curries, a raita and a roti. The curries were nice, though not on a par with the best lunches we've sampled elsewhere. That said, I'm eager to try them again at dinner and see what they can do. All in all a very satisfying lunch!
